1. Service Description

InvoicePeppol provides a web-based service that converts PDF invoices into structured e-invoice XML formats (Peppol BIS 3.0, XRechnung, ZUGFeRD/Factur-X, UBL Credit Notes) compliant with the EU EN 16931 standard.

2. No Guarantee of Tax or Legal Compliance

While we use AI-powered extraction and validation against EN 16931, the generated XML files are provided on an "as-is" basis. InvoicePeppol is not a tax advisor, legal advisor, or certified e-invoicing authority. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the generated XML before submitting it to any tax authority, Peppol network, or business partner. We do not guarantee that the output satisfies the legal or regulatory requirements of any specific jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload files that are not legitimate invoices or business documents.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or rate limiting.
• Use automated tools to bulk-upload files without prior authorization.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our AI extraction prompts or proprietary logic.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in activity that harms the service or other users. You may delete your own account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

5. Data Handling

We process your data according to our Privacy Policy. Uploaded files are deleted immediately after processing. See our Security page for details on our data protection measures.

Our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available for customers who require a formal agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR.

6. Pricing & Payment

Prices are listed on our Pricing page and may change with 30 days notice. Subscriptions are billed monthly. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Limitation of Liability

InvoicePeppol's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to damages from rejected invoices, incorrect tax filings, or business losses.

8. Modifications

We may modify these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
